I Protest
I couldn’t be at the No Kings March, so I decided to write a bit of mediocre poetry to raise my voice in a different way:
Epstein Filed-
Marching against fascism is a just and righteous move,
We won't bend the knee to any, even the rich or smarmy smooth,
Especially lecherous liars who seem to hate the Constitution,
but thinks we the people serving him is the obvious solution.
We didn't cry when a preacher of hate died, and that seems to get you riled
and it also helped you forget your leader is clearly Epstein filed.
You don't understand that we, who you hate, march for you, too,
Because ask his many ex-friends, they know soon he'll also be coming after you.
You, family and friends who have taken the red pill,
Stop only watching Fox and newsmax , you've had your toxic fill.
You are better and more important than they give you credit for,
Save yourself and get out from under this reality star power and fame whore.
I beg you to find your compassion, don't listen to their lies any longer.
Or that wall that separates you from your heart will continue to grow stronger.
Stop getting mad at your family and friends and hating those you used to love.
Why do you always cheer the rampaging lion and forsake the peaceful dove?
We march, whether virtual or vicarious, because we love ours, and your, freedom.
And we don't want to live in a dictatorship, kingdom or someone's personal fiefdom.
You may follow the orange because you hate those who are different, you may hate them a lot,
Do you want a democracy or do we prepare the way for a new Stalin or Pol Pot?
I am mad at you for being mad at us when our cause is just and we march for you, too.
I am mad at you for your dismissal of people of color and those of a rainbow hue.
